National Black Poet Laureates Society Gathering

The National Black Poet Laureates Society invites Black Poet Laureates from across the nation to gather for our first-ever Society Gathering—three inspiring days of poetry, connection, conversation, collaboration, and celebration.

Under the theme “Our Voices. Our Legacy. Our Future.”, we will honor the poets who have carried our stories into civic spaces, celebrate the power of our collective voices, and imagine what comes next for Black poets and poet laureates across America.

Come ready to share, learn, create, and connect. Experience dynamic presentations, engaging workshops, meaningful dialogue, fellowship, and opportunities to build relationships that will strengthen the future of our Society.
